All in all, a fair and balanced review from Mysteries Ahoy: “has enough points of interest that it would be a very solid second read.”

A Travers les murailles, Noel Vindry’s last novel to feature M. Allou, the master resolver of locked room mysteries, is now available.
Rated almost as highly as The Howling Beast by 1000 Chambres Closes, it features several impossible crimes in and outside an eerie manor, whose inhabitants are convinced that the aggressors are capable of walking through walls.

The excellent Australian Death of the Reader podcast recently featured Locked Room International. My friends Roland Lacourbe and Soji Shimada are quoted extensively.
The sound is not always the greatest (probably due to me) but it’s fairly intelligible.

The Moonlight Detective cannot contain his enthusiasm:
“… purely as a traditional, plot-driven mystery novel, ‘Death Among the Undead’ can stand with the best of its kind, past and present
… close to perfect as a hybrid-mystery novel… My best and favorite read of 2021!”

On a more prosaic note, there will be a short unavailability of the tpd while I publish a small update.
